For those of us considering the pursuit of a graduate degree after VISTA, this article in the New York Times and the accompanying comments were fascinating.

Thank you for posting this Brian, because this article was a terrific resource for me, giving me a different perspective and making me pause to consider other alternatives to graduate school following VISTA service. As someone likely to pursue a liberal arts/humanities/social sciences master's degree, I know think I'd be better served to gain valuable experience through an internship postion rather than add extra debt and an M.A. to my name. I have not yet made up my mind, but this was influential. Thanks again.
